Programs: Instructional services to graduate and undergraduate students: barry university offers more than 103 undergraduate, graduate, professional, and doctoral majors to approximately 8,679 full and part-time students at multiple sites.
student services and auxiliary enterprises: the student affairs division of barry university adheres to the philosophy that students succeed when all aspects of their development are at optimum level. To this end, the student affairs staff stand ready to serve as a support system for barry students. The services available include the bookstore, campus ministry, career services, commuter student affairs, leadership an transition, commencement, counseling and psychological, dining, disability, health, intercultural center, public safety, residential life, student activities, student union, and volunteer and community services.
academic support: barry university offers academic support to students as it relates to library, computer, and learning center support. The monsignor william barry memorial library includes more than 950,000 items, over 40,000 print and on-line journal subscriptions and several thousand on-line books and streaming video resources. A significant strength is the excellent roman catholic research materials collection. The barry library information services system web (blissweb) is the computerized online catalog of the library's holdings. Blissweb can be searched from terminals and computers in the library, computer labs, dorms, and offices across campus as well as home and off-campus sites. The library is a member of seplin (south east florida library information network), the online computer library center (oclc), and a national library network. The barry university dwayne o. Andreas school of law houses an extensive collection o legal materials including federal and state statutes, case reporters and digests, monographs, treatises, secondary resources, legal periodicals, and newspapers, with a focus on florida specific legal resources. Reference librarians with law degrees are available to assist with research and reference for students, faculty, and members of the orlando legal community.
