Reviews for AWARE

Hands down the best prevention program I have ever seen. Covering all aspects of youth awareness to the sexual dangers present in such a turbulent time in a young person's life.

After volunteering some time with AWARE I became even more awed at the scope of the programs that they offer! From the dangers of pornography to abstinence to taking on the horror of child sex-trafficking. Our schools would be at a GREAT loss to not include these comprehensive, youth-friendly education programs in an annual curriculum.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My attitude towards sex-trafficking. Previous to working with AWARE, I followed the paradigm that sex-trafficking was a problem for far-off countries that I had no control over. I had no idea that it was happening in the US let alone an hour from my home!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Get them a dedicated fund-raiser on staff. And the money to afford said fund-raiser :)

Would you volunteer for this group again?

For the time you spent, how much of an impact did you feel your work or activity had?

Did the organization use your time wisely?

Very Well

Would you recommend this group to a friend?

Did your volunteer experience have an effect on you? (teaching you a new skill, or introducing new friends, etc.)

Again, completely changed my attitudes on pornography and sex-trafficking. They went from perversions that exist to something that I could help do something about!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
