After being rushed and poorly matched with a dog at a different rescue, we cautiously contacted Wigglin Home Boxer Rescue. They thoroughly and promptly contacted ALL of our references and followed up our application with an extensive discussion of our past adoptions and our future desires/needs. We consistently received detailed responses and the volunteers communicated well among each other to ensure the right dog was found for our family. We met a number of dogs on potential “match day” with no pressure to take a dog home, but the dog the volunteers felt would be the best match for us was the dog we agreed would fit our family with young kids. We took our boxer home for a one week trial and we’re at ease seeing how easily she fit in and how careful the rescue had been with finding a dog that would be comfortable and happy with our family and pace of life. We love wigglin home and would recommend them to anyone looking for a boxer. Other rescues could take notes from them!

We adopted our 18 month old male boxer when he was 8weeks old from WHBR. We love this group. Everyone who is a part of this organization gives their heart and souls to save as many dogs as possible so that they can live the good life that they deserve.

Got our girl Mimi from Wigglin Home. They are always there to help if you need any guidance for your pups-even the ones that you didn't get from them. It is a wonderful group of people that I am proud to be a small part of the community/family. And that is what this group is...a big wonderful family.

I have had the pleasure of fostering and adopting through this amazing organization. It was clear from my first interaction that these volunteers have hearts of gold and pour their love and devotion into each Boxer they take in. They have proven to be there with caring advice and support,in any and all situations. From the heartbreaking passing of a foster, to my first and second succesful fostering experience, to the post adoption follow up that brought my sweet and deserving Marshal back into rescue. Wigglin Home Boxer Rescue is changing lives for Boxers and their Boxers are changing lives for the humans they adopt. From myself, Makinzee, Belle, Marshal, Scrappy and Olaf, THANK YOU WHBR!

I have been a volunteer with WHBR for about 2 years. This rescue does it what says. They follow through on the promise to ensure that every Boxer or any dog in need receives the necessary help they need to succeed. From helping a family build a fence so they can keep their dog safe and with the family, providing medical attention no matter the cost to all dogs, saving those in shelters who are deemed unadoptable due to age or medical condition and taking them into to foster/hospice homes so that they can receive all the love and care they deserve. Going above and beyond to ensure the right dog is placed with the right family and extending the same care and courtesy to it's volunteers. Networking with other Rescues to help promote adoption, spay and neutering, training. I have never been more pround of a true non profit that is so transparent.

Wigglin Home Boxer Rescue is ALL about the pups! Transparent, dedicated, kind, dog-loving, trustworthy superhero’s volunteer at my rescue.
I adopted Kevin from WHBR last year. He is so handsome, and such a great addition to my family.

We were introduced to Wigglin Home Boxer Rescue thru good friends Scott and TERESA. We are so happy belonging to this family of fantastic rescuers, trainers, fosters, transporters and lovers of Boxers. WHBR will stop at nothing to get the right dog into the perfect family. Rescuing from several states as well as right here within Washington, this rescue has fund raising activities and uses thousands of hours of donated time and resources to accomplish this.
Our sweet 14 month old Kevin was born in WHBR, with his 7 siblings to a def mama. All of her pups, and mama were adopted into wonderful homes and we all keep in touch. What a family. What a Rescue!

When Wigglin’ Home Boxer Rescue was contacted by a breeder
asking if they might take a puppy who had little to no use of her
rear legs the decision was easy. Dogs with medical needs are
hard to find homes for, let alone one that can’t walk on its own.
The puppy would be safe with a volunteer foster while a diagnosis
was sought. -That foster home was our home, that puppy was
Melody, and this is our story. On January 28th we officially
adopted her.Melody is a 9-month-old Boxer, who is full of life and spunk! She was born with spina bifida. Three months ago, she had to have a bilateral rear leg amputation. Before her amputation surgery, her legs were pulling on her spine, causing pain while she was in her wheelchair. Since the surgery, she loves her wheelchair and is able to be part of the pack! She is able to go everywhere in her wheelchair, and loves it. Melody even pulls on her leash, wanting to run. Her Walkin’ Wheels wheelchair has given her life as a dog back to her. She’s no longer a disabled dog, she is part of the family and can do everything that the other dogs do! She is currently training to be a therapy dog to visit hospitals to serve as an inspiration to others. She loves new people and going places.
We want to thank Wigglin Home Boxer Rescue for all their help and support. This is an awesome organization that I'm honored to be part of.

Wigglin Home Boxer Rescue saves lives. They save countless lives of this very special breed of dog every day but they also help save the lives of the many people who are blessed to be part of this family. On a particularly low day for me, I just so happened to be scrolling through my page and came across a post asking for help for a severely injured Boxer boy. Through all the gore this sweet soul was fighting for his life. One look into his eyes and I my heart reawakened and i knew I had to get to him. I asked to foster him through his recovery and when we met in person the day his transport bus arrived, I knew I had found my dog at last. Gunner has brought more to my life and helped renew my sense of purpose more then I ever could have imagined. I am forever indebted to WHBR for bringing this special boy into my life.

Wigglin Home Boxer Rescue is awesome! They worked with me to find the perfect Boxer for me and my family. Roscoe is happy to be home, sleeping on his bed, romping in his yard, playing with his cat, and snuggling with his people! Thanks, Wigglin Nome, for giving this boy a new life!

I am a Boxer lover, and have been a foster, and failed foster home for several Boxers through several rescue organizations. My experience with Wigglin'Home has been amazing! Not only did they transfer the dog to me with a collar and rescue ID tag, but with a blanket, food and a favored toy! Within 24 hours, my AC (area coordinator) was visiting me and the dog to see how things were going, to provide supplements and vitamins to assist in his recovery and to go over tips that would help with his move. Access to vet care was readily provided, with no question about the concerns I expressed about his health. I am happy to be part of this welcoming and wonderful rescue!

Wiggle Butts! This organization loves them: all shapes, size, colors. Young or old, sick or healthy, the goal is to find Boxers a loving and caring home no matter how many years they have left on earth. Some have never known a kind word or soft hand. Others were loved and through no fault of their own found themselves in dire circumstances. Wigglin Home Boxer Rescue gives them all a second chance. I am so proud to be a volunteer transporting Boxers to foster homes and fostering those I can.

I've been involved with this organization less than a year but it has been the most amazing time. I've laughed, cried and rejoiced many times. Helping one Boxer find a loving home or easing their final days is beyond words.

I have been a volunteer for a year now and honestly have never had as much fun! Those involved with WHBR are a great group of boxer lovers who give in so many ways and have fun doing it. I have met some great friends and extraordinary people. With three boxers already, I did not think they would welcome an intruder, then along came Quinnie who inched her way into their hearts and ours and she added to my volunteer resume when I became a foster mom and then an adoptive mom. WHBR was with us all the way offering support and anything else that was reqired. I will volunteer for them as long as they will let me.

We have had the blessings to experience a hospice Boxer that was found on the streets, a 6 month old puppy that was surrendered by the owner and 10 month old that was hit by a car, badly injured and left at a shelter. All through WHBR! This group has so much heart to take all of the Boxers, no matter what the circumstance. Our hospice passed after 4 months of spoiling in our home that she never would have had without WHBR. The other two have become beloved members of our family. Without the heart, spirit and courage of WHBR, I don't want to think what the outcomes would have been for these fur babies. The leadership of the rescue are always available and lead by example! We are honored to be volunteers and 3 time adopters.

WHBR is nothing but amazing!! The love that each volunteer has for the pups is unreal. They are honest, hard working and genuine people.. not something you find often anymore. I adopted Presley a few months back after thinking I was just going to foster him, he ended up showing us what an adoption looks like by staying with us furever! We love him dearly and would definitely recommend WHBR to anyone looking to add to their family.

We were at a very low point in our lives, we had lost our boxer,Hannah, to DM. We talked and met people from WHBR and they and a dog "Hobbes", helped ease the pain of loosing our Hannah. The members of WHBR are so willing to help and support you. They found us a white boxer, who SAVED US. Casper, our savior, has been with us for 9 months and put happiness back into our lives and the life of our Boston terrier, Ozzy. The people at WHBR are all volunteer and have special hearts. I love this organization so much, I decided I wanted to be a part of this "goodness". I now volunteer. This is an amazing organization in which the people work very hard for a very special cause. I am proud to be a part of it!!

Wigglin Home Boxer Rescue is a very well run nonprofit. Working with them has been a pleasure. They are open, helpful, resourceful and it feels like family all working towards the same goals - saving boxers, rehabilitate them as necessary and finding them excellent homes. Potential fosters and adopters are interviewed to ensure the dog will be safe and well cared for. WHBR works with other rescues with transportation, adoptions and fosters. I am very proud to be a part of this rescue.

I've been volunteering with Wigglin Home for just over a year. I have never had a better experience. The support I get from everyone on the team helps me hold onto sanity. The dogs that I've been able to help by providing a soft place to land between surrender or shelter life and a loving home have each taken a piece of my heart. They have also given new enthusiasm to my dogs. If I had to do it over again. I would with each and every pup.

The care that all the volunteers have for these dogs and the community is unparalleled. The dogs that come in are loved instantly and taken care of as one of their own. The family match process is fantastic. Anyone looking for a boxer or in need of finding a home for their boxer will be treated well and can know this team has your family and the dogs interests in heart.

When I found Wigglin Homes Boxer Rescue I knew I was home. I immediately felt a calling to be a volunteer for this organization. The people from the top all the way down are incredible and will go to any length to save a dog. I met with DeAnn and quickly filled out my application to volunteer and adopt because I knew we would never find a place as good as this to invest our time and money. My husband and I were in the foster to adopt program. We are so lucky to have been chosen to adopt Toby to complete our family. He is a beautiful dog who will steal your heart in a second. I wish I could have 10 more like him. I so appreciate that WHBR really takes the time and effort to make sure a dog is going to be the right fit. I will adopt from them again and remain a volunteer as long as they will have me.

I have been a volunteer with this non-profit for several months now and am thoroughly impressed with the leadership, organization, and genuine compassion exhibited by all levels of this organization. There have been many instances when immediate action was needed in order to save a dog, Boxer or not, and there was no hesitation to act. Transports were arranged quickly, veterinary treatment sought immediately, and foster homes found. This rescue doesn’t hesitate to seek professional help with behavioral/training issues and provides lasting support to the families who adopt through WHBR. I am a proud donor to and volunteer with Wigglin’ Home Boxer Rescue and cannot recommend them highly enough.

As a WHBR volunteer and adopter, the experience of working with this organization has been nothing but inspiring. The dedication and determination shown by DeAnn King president of wigglin’ is emulated in every board member and volunteer. I initially joined as a transporter, to help get dogs where they needed to go. I then started getting involved in events, fundraising, fostering and adopting. I was asked once why I was doing more. I can answer in one word, “FAMILY” that’s how you feel when you’re part of this organization. As a volunteer I have seen 100% transparency and honesty. I've received positive feedback and support in all aspects, from feeding questions to medical to just needing a shoulder. As an adopter that support continues along with a community of adopters to share our stories and photos. I am proud and honored to be a part of Wigglin' Home Boxer Rescue.
