Mission: Travis Manion Foundation empowers veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. TMF was founded in 2007 following the death of 1stLt Travis Manion (USMC) who was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis' legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, "If Not Me, Then Who..." Guided by this mantra, veterans and families of fallen heroes continue their service, develop strong relationships with their communities, and thrive in their post-military lives. As a result, communities prosper, and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. TMF is uniting communities to strengthen America’s national character and veterans are leading the way.

Truly one of the best Veteran Service Organizations out there. They make an impact not only with the Military/Veteran Communities, but acknowledge an underrecognized group, the families of the fallen.

I cant say enough about the impact TMF has had on my life. It all started with getting to know the family of a fallen comrade and has turned into a meaningful change in my attitude, character, personal life, and career. It is easy for me to align with TMF's goals and core values and it is easy to see the impact they are having on this countries veterans, families and youth. I've been able to volunteers as a "Spartan" and also lead "Op's Legacy" service projects. I was able to serve on an "Expedition" dedicated to gold star families. And more importantly Ive been given the opportunity to better myself by learning leadership and mentor skills enabling me to turn around and influence others that "Character does Matter". Once you get involved with this organization it is hard not to get pulled in by the mission and get more and more involved serving others.

They always say that their run is more then just a charity 5k. Every year we do as many 9.11 Heroes Runs as we can and the Hero WOD. Doylestown, Philly Navy Yard, Cooper River Park, Feasterville and West Chester are all awesome runs supporting a good cause for our veterans and their families.

In my four years being associated with TMC both as a volunteer and community partner, I have been fortunate enough to get to know a lot of the staff personally, and have witnessed their impact first-hand. Their Veteran's Transition Workshop is the most genuine and real transition workshop I have ever been a part of, seeking to use a combination of theory and real world perspectives from the community to give the veterans a realistic view point of what it means to be empowered. The Character Does Matter Program is a veteran's program unique unto itself, challenge the veteran to live up to the values and ethos, but empowering the veterans to become teachers to youth to carry the mantle of community services and positive leadership skills.

Last, every single employee of TMF is passionate, the not only believe in the organization, they are committed to their work, and are passionate to make a positive change. When you attend a TMF event or visit their office, you are met with a wave of positivity that leaves you motivated to go out and make you're own impact.

I consider myself fortunate to be considered a community partner of TMF, as they are a top notch organization that I am proud to be apart of.

They are strong and faithful to their mission. They seek tempered and innovative approaches to their strategy. They are extremely responsive to their foundation's ambassadors. They are growing in following and in support because they enact their mission, "If not me, then who" everyday. It is inspiring to see and engaging to be a part their ecosystem. They inspire me to do more in my community (I feel guilty if I don't do more)!

I ran across the United States of America because I was so inspired by the wonderful work they do and the manner in which they do it. Honor the Fallen and Challenge the Living!

The Travis Manion Foundation is an organization with unparalleled mission, ethics, and devotion to duty. It embodies what all non-profits, especially those serving our veterans, should strive for. In my line of work, I run into a lot of non-profit organizations that leverage their cause(s) to operate a great business. Unlike these supposed non-profits, the TMF exists specifically for those that it helps and serves. I'm proud to have any association with this amazing group of individuals changing people's lives. I will forever be a donor, volunteer, and admirer.

The TMF staff are without a doubt the most passionate people in the veteran non-profit space. They are making things happen on a daily basis that makes our country a better place. My experience has been tremendous each time I've worked with this fine organization.
