I've worked in the sector for 17 years as everything from well driller to operations director to communications director. I got to personally see The Water Project's work in Kenya and it was the most transformative work I've ever seen. It was everything everyone in the water sector says they are in terms of improving economy, agriculture, hygiene, environment, livestock, etc. few water projects really do impact all these areas but this TWP work was.
We partnered with The Water Project (TWP) after starting our non-profit organization, Erick's Hope, in honor and memory of our beloved son. We found TWP through Focus on the Family magazine, rated as one of the top five non-profit organizations to work with. We paired up with Tess, our consultant, a true blessing. Tess understands the sensitivity of our foundation (In memory of our son), our goals, and our budget. Gives us tools to raise awareness for fundraising; an instrument of great importance. We have been partnering with TWP since 2012, and have completed several water projects. So thankful for their dedication to helping us achieve our goals.
