TECH CORPS has worked with our students for over 5 years. They have the best programming and instructors. Their team has developed multiple summer programming options for us with the support of local industry. We highly recommend this program to any school or afterschool program looking for STEM, Computer Science, Coding, or IT opportunities for students. They are one of our best school partners. Unlike other non-profits, they are truly collaborative. Their team understands our school and has worked to provide sustainable programming for our students. The videos show our students discussing their experience.
I had the incredible opportunity to serve as a volunteer judge at the 2024 TECHCORPShack, hosted across multiple cities in Ohio. The event brought together over 400 students eager to showcase their creativity and technical skills in solving real-world challenges.
As a judge, I evaluated innovative student projects, provided feedback, and helped identify outstanding solutions. Witnessing the resilience, imagination, and problem-solving abilities of these young technologists was truly inspiring.
TECH CORPS' commitment to preparing the next generation for success in STEM fields is evident in every aspect of this event. The organization’s dedication to mentorship and hands-on learning opportunities made my experience extremely rewarding, and I am grateful to have been part of such an impactful initiative.
Thank you to the TECH CORPS team for creating a space where innovation, education, and community come together so powerfully.

Three years in a row, my school has participated in TechCorps Computer Science Week Activities. They have been beyond engaging for the students. They get so excited. TechCorps has been helpful as well. If we had any questions, they immediately got back to us. Amazing Organization!
This year's challenge was to learn about algorythms with origami and agiles with Battleship.
I worked with this organization this summer and it was by far one of the most interesting experiences I've ever had. I learned just as much as the student's about the content being taught and built an unbreakable bond with our cohort of students. I look forward to working with them again in the future.
I helped my team of young ladies win...they did all the hard work...Tech Corps provided me a wonderful learning system!
Tech Corps is a wonderful organization that provides powerful messages and knowledge to children. Seeing the children that they support learning and thriving with the things being taught is fantastic.
I was fortunate enough to participate in TechCorp in 2016 and was very excited about the way they were bridging the technology gap with HS students. I was fortunate again to re-connect with them this week, 5/16/2018 & 5/17/2018, to help connect their students with my industry and IT in particular. It is a great program; I wish it existed when I was young.
I will continue to be involved with such a great program to help our youth know what is out there for career options and get them interested in these career opportunities.
The volunteers and organizers are very professional and just great individuals with their hearts in the right place.

Techcorps is a nonprofit organization that focuses upon technology programs for elementary age students all the way to high school students. I'm in my 5th year with Techcorps. Every year they continue to expand. I believe this is due to their sincere belief that every child matters, the respect they show to their employees on a daily basis, and the family atmosphere they create with both their employees and the students and families that they embrace.
Their programs are top notch and cover assorted time frames. The company focuses upon reaching students in need who may not have technology in their lives on a day to day basis. They also focus upon minorities in both race and gender who would not typically experience technology opportunities.
Overall, Techcorps is making a tremendous impact on the youth of the communities in which they are located and I am grateful to be working with such dedicated people.

In this technological era of ours, it is important that we prepare our youth to navigate this increasingly evolving landscape. In addition, the tools for learning and discovery in this realm of science and development should be readily accessible to all.
Tech Corps puts forth a great effort to promote and deliver technology programs that introduces and exposes children and young adults, of the inner city and urban areas, to the knowledge and skills needed to build upon in hopes of becoming technology professionals in the future.
As a Computer Career Corps instructor, I have had the privilege and honor to share in their mission to provide technology resources and education to school-aged children. The experience, knowledge, and skills that I obtained are invaluable. While this opportunity was very rewarding, I was quite humbled and, now, have a reinforced perspective on how I can help also.
Whether you would be a volunteer, an employee, or anyone who is affiliated with Tech Corps and its programs, there is a richness in the diversity of the organization’s individuals and offerings that would be advantageous to anyone seeking to align themselves in the effort to ensure the profitability, viability, and longevity of our society.
Working with the students from Tech Corps over the summer has been an awesome opportunity. I believe that this program is an awesome opportunity for our nations youth and helps to prepare our students, children, and families for life after they graduate high school, head off to college or into the workforce. I think that it has helped to enlist more young women into the technology field which is under represented by the female population and it has helped to show more young ladies that the technology field can be a field that they can achieve in. It is important to keep programs like this in place because it builds excellent life skills that a regular school environment just doesn't have the time to provide.
TECH CORPS offers a wide variety of top notch, technology-based programs for elementary, middle, and high school aged youth. Their hands-on programs are designed to engage participants in coding, website development, app development, robotics, and more. This organization works hard to excite and empower youth of all backgrounds.
I have seen firsthand how TECH CORPS has empowered its participants. For the past three summers, I have worked as an instructor in the Student WEB CORPS program offered by TECH CORPS. During the eight week program, high school youth learn how to code using HTML and CSS, design multiple websites, create a professional website for a mock small business, and create a professional résumé. Participants leave the program with real-life professional skills, ranging from technological know how to polished presentation skills, and gain greater self-confidence in the process. I highly recommend TECH CORPS as an organization and hope more people can participate in their programs.
Great! I had fun, and learned a lot. There is not a place in the world with a nicer team and a more comfortable work environment.
As a Site Coordinator for a Web Corps site, I could witness the enormous excitement, eagerness for the 'next' topic to master and the empowerment as the Final Project emerged for the student-employees.
Having been an entrepreneur, I sensed these WebCorps members gained a new paradigm that has them at the center of control for their future roles in web site development.
The skills that were acquired throughout the summer sessions will be touchstones for career development, as well as serving as strong elements in future educational experiences in the field.
CVCC has parterned with Tech Corps to bring TECHie camps to our associate schools districts. We have found Tech Corps to be a great partner, providing outstanding experiences for our students. We look forward to working together in the future.
The Ohio State University Women in Engineering (WiE) Program has worked with TECH CORPS as a non-profit community partner for almost three years. WiE and TECH CORPS have worked to support two FIRST Lego League teams, WiE TECHie and WiE TECHie Bytes, and one-day events to introduce girls to STEM fields. TECH CORPS is an excellent organization to increase the number of women and underrepresented students in these career fields. The staff and administrators at TECH CORPS (Lisa Chambers and Carla Thompson) are dedicated professionals that care about the success of their students. I have enjoyed working with TECH CORPS on our one-day events, such as Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) and long-term projects, such as our partnership to support FIRST Lego League teams. I look forward to future endeavors and keep up the terrific work!

I worked as a lead instructor for CSTC for 3 years and have found it to be a very beneficial program for young adults within their lives due to the advancement of technology within this world and our society today. CSTC gives these young adults an edge as far as being more educated and aware of computer technology that we have today. It also helps the young adults with making an early decision when it comes to what field of degree that they would like to pursue prior to going to college.
