I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the transformative power of Solutions for Change in the lives of families in need. As one of those families, I find it empowering to see parents regain their confidence and children rediscover their hope for a brighter future. This organization doesn’t just provide housing; it restores faith in society. I am incredibly grateful to be an overcomer!

What a wonderful group of people with a great purpose.
Every event that we have attended, we were amazed at the love of the attendees, and their hopes for a continuation of this successful program.

By the end of their program, students leave as Overcomers and are equipped with the skills needed to lead a successful, happy and stable life for generations to come. Solutions for Change is a fantastic organization that is making positive progress and real change. From the founder to the Overcomers and the students going through their program, everyone has a common goal for good that unites them. I have heard the stories of the people who have been helped by Solutions for Change firsthand. These stories are inspiring and a testament to how the Solutions program and philosophy really does work. Homelessness is growing rapidly, and the quick fixes out there are not creating any positive difference. Solutions for Change doesn’t put a bandaid over the issue, they address the real issue and help people take back control of their lives! Amazing work!

How can this place be reputable if people who work there actively use crystal methamphetamine? How is that possible? I feel they need a drug test their employees randomly at least twice a week three times a week seriously, they drug test clients they could use the money to drug test employees so they can make sure that everybody's safe all the way around I really don't want to send my daughter there when I know firsthand, that employees use crystal methamphetamine. How can I safely put my child in their hands even though she's an adult I still have knowledge of this and I have to say it because if I don't I'm just as bad as being a part of it. This is just a suggestion I know that I'm not anonymous on this it's a free of my speech and I literally don't want to push this under the rug any longer and neither should anybody else I feel it is false advertising basically practice what you preach.

Solutions for Change is a fabulous program. I have been blessed to witness the positive life changing challenges for a very close family member, brought about by Solutions. Accountability, reliability, responsibility and sobriety are the cornerstones of Solutions for Change.

This non profit organization is the biggest con in San Diego County. All their positive testimonials were from NEW clients (at that time) and or PAID staff - who are forced to leave a positive reviews to stay in good standing. ALL their donors are from Republican leaning churches and organizations, who are content "writing a check" thinking they are truly helping KIDS! Donors are maintaining staff salaries, Chris's business breakfast, lunch, and dinners write offs, etc just to keep the con going. Empathetic donors provide and serve dinners daily (may God Bless their souls for their time AND generosity).

Chris M. builds a few SFC residents up as poster children for the program to give the illusion his "unique" program is working. What he doesn't mention is his highly overpaid residents/ staff that he employs to keep up the facade. Jennifer P., Tina, Viva all earn a bigger paycheck than LICENSED social workers he has on staff!

If a reporter were to investigate Solutions for Change - they will learn that the "1,300 families and over 2,800 kids" Solutions for Change claims that they helped rid of homelessness, 99% are still in fact HOMELESS & still dealing with poverty. I challenge Solutions for Change to ONLY post testimonials from those they claim to have helped AFTER they "graduate" and NO LONGER RESIDING OR EMPLOYED by them. This NONPROFIT is all smoke and mirrors!

Solutions Academy is a sad joke. They make new residents work at their farm FOR FREE. They learn nothing but... get up, suit up and show up for FREE. Forced AA meetings (regardless if you're an addict or not) to brainwash you into AA 1st step - Find and believe in a Higher Power. While you work for free, they force you to also receive state assistance so they can CHARGE YOU RENT so that your 5 years of public assistance clock gets started !! (its their Republican way of helping you!)

They claim to have helped 1,300 families & that their graduates have a 93% success rate of NEVER becoming homeless again. Yet their testimonials are full of people they kicked out for a number of questionable reasons. They have a high turnover rate of low paid LICENSED counselors who wish and can do more, but are stuck dancing to Chris's song and dance. 93% of 1,300 families equals 1,209 families! Why is Solutions ONLY using testimonials from PAID staff and current and former residents that were kicked out? Where are the testimonials from the "graduates" who are no longer associated with SFC?

Where are the testimonials from the 1,200+ families they claimed to have help? Once again, I challenge Solutions for Change and their donors to ONLY POST TESTIMONIALS from "graduates" that NO LONGER LIVE OR WORK at SFC !

If you think this is a real Non Profit that helps homeless kids... you also believe the 2020 election was stolen !

I've known Chris and Tammy for many years. They gave me the tools to stay sober now for 21 years! Solutions for change is a program that is dear to my heart and I strongly support them!

I was under the impression this organization helps homeless families in all states. They seem to claim that but in order for them to help a homeless family in another state they expect them to somehow travel their whole family to their headquarters in California, in order to qualify (proof) for help. And NOPE they do not help with travel arrangements or any sort of resources to help the homeless family afford to get there. What a crock of crap. Sounds like they're trying to solely serve their immediate area but still qualify themselves for greater government grant money by saying they help homeless families all over the United States! I think this supposed "non-profit" is fraudulent and deceiving....How do you really expect a whole family who is HOMELESS to drive , fly, hitch-hike or bus there just to "prove it" HA. There is so many other ways people can prove their identity and situation without having to be there in person, especially now days. How do you expect a poor homeless family (probably with no car) to get there? ...and affordably? Why don't you have resources to help them get there?

I have a family member that needed to start over from scratch due to the home situation. From what I understand most of the women have had to walk away with almost nothing in order to get out. Solutions for Change has a comprehensive program to provide housing, build up the skills, confidence, and path to become independent again. It is a structured program with accountability. There is counseling, classes, work, fun, and support. These individuals would be homeless or forced to live in dangerous situations. The participants have to be engaged because there are a lot of rules to follow as you transition along.
Thanks to volunteers and donations, the residents at Solution for Change are provided with necessities and more. I am very impressed with this program and it is great to see something that works and provides a path to move forward to a productive life.

I have seen firsthand the tremendous growth and positive change in the lives of their clients. Clients come in scared and frightened. They leave with brand new lives, transformed in ways they never dreamed possible. Solutions for Change, with their incredible, loving, caring staff, is doing it right!

Solutions for Change has taken a practical approach to making change in the community - and its working. No more handouts, just a hand up when people need it. A safe place to stay, a way to get back to work and an environment that keeps everyone – especially the kids – safe from going backwards.

Solutions for Change has been nothing but transparent and wonderful in their interactions with me. As a journalist and former California resident, I became interested in their program after my best friend volunteered there. What I found was a good system and people with a heart to help the homeless. Their methods are solid and their hearts big - one of the best non-profits I've every worked with!

Always putting the success of their residents FIRST! I'm prid to have this program in our town helping change families!!!!!

I have been following Solutions for Change since they started their non-profit. I know of many of Moms and Dads who were hopeless/addicted and this program help rebuild their lives on day at a time. Their no other rehabilitation center that focuses on the who families to get them out and become productive citizens the way this program has done. Rebuilding the their hope, esteem, integrity and just living life clean and sober. This non-profit should be recognize for their solutions for change in the community.

Solutions for change is an organization that puts people and families first! This organization truly cares about people it helps as a leadership within this organization should act as a model to other organizations!

What a great organization here is North County San Diego. The leadership seems to care so much about their jobs and the cause they are working to help solve.

Just heard all about Solutions for Change on the radio, and former Pastor Chico was our pastor, so I have an interest in this organization. What I heard was so encouraging... this organization just not give hand outs like so many do, buy they teach each person to have confidence, dignity, and to learn how to support themselves through employment, life skills, etc. They "teach" a person to fish rather than just "give" a person a fish.
Wish we had more of these types of organizations throughout the county.

With the increase in homelessness and families in need it is wonderful to see an organization like Solutions for Change making a difference in so many lives. I personally know of the investment of time and caring of the volunteers and leaders in this organization and how much good they are doing throughout the community. They are not just helping get families into shelters but helping them to get back on their feet and begin to support themselves again. Thank you SFC for the great work that you are doing!

I have a family member who is part of the Solutions program. I've seen hopeless and broken people find a safe, secure place in society. Solutions offers counseling, job search, parenting, therapy and financial support allowing these individuals to rebuild their lives with a strong support system. It is not an easy program. It's a commitment that changes lives. I am forever grateful.

SFC isn't just helping people today. They have created a model of success in changing lives that will stand the test of time. It can and will work in Communities across the country.

This program has been a God send for my son and his family. I cannot believe what a difference it has made and how grown up and responsible for the first time in there lives. The kids a thriving and their family is finally becoming independent, self reliant, drug and alcohol free and contributors to society! They will soon (1-2 years) be totally off assistance. It is the best thing to have ever happened to the 4 of them. THANK YOU SOLUTIONS!!!

I read about this organization in a newspaper article of the San Diego Union Tribune. I then attended the Grand Opening ceremony of their Solutions Farm in Vista, Ca. I saw first-hand an example of how this organization is on the leading edge in agriculture as well as in career training. I found out more information on their Face Book page, and subscribe to their newsletter. I am so proud this organization exists in my community, and I support it by donating new toys and gifts at Christmas as well as used items in good condition. Homelessness is a serious issue in our society, I applaud Solutions for Change in their comprehensive program to meet the diverse needs of their clients.

Solutions for Change is an amazing organization that has helped change the lives of many families that have found themselves in the unfortunate situation of being homeless. Their comprehensive approach doesn't deal with so much with the symptoms of homelessness, but the root causes. We are privileged to have them in our community.

I have been fortunate enough to be involved with this organization since 2007. The residents, staff, board members and volunteers have impacted me in ways I could not have anticipated. I am grateful each day that this organization is continuing to solve family homelessness with servant leadership as it's keystone. Solutions for Change is truly leading the way!

Amazing program getting to the heart of homelessness and solving it one family at a time! They are able to really understand what it takes to get these people who are having a rough time get the help they need such as recovery, parenting help, education classes, job trainning and self esteem to start fresh and regain their place in our community as productiona and proud community members.

Solutions for Change doesn't just give handouts to their clients, the homeless, but they get to the root of why they are homeless. They didn't just become homeless and desperate overnight, so the "solution" will take some time, also. The dedicated staff help the clients "see" where their futures need to go, then they give them the tools to get there. These are not just temporary changes. Their lives are permanently changed. They learn to deal with their addictions, become good employees, and get and keep a job. They are taught good parenting skills that, by example, teach their children to become good parents in the future. Solutions for Change offers a quality service to bring the homeless out of homelessness forever.

Solutions for Change absolutely changes peoples lives. The program saved my sister, her daughter, and husband. My sister lost her son at an early age which debastated her life. She and her family were on the verge of being homeless. Our family helped all that we could but had done all we could. She called Solutions for Change and began to rebuild her life with their help. With the help of Solutions for Change she and her husband now work and have a beautiful place to live and are great parents to their daughter. Solutions for Change gets families working, productive, and happy.

I have a friend who has been helped a lot through Solutions for Change. I am always impressed with how clean and pretty the facilities are, and more importantly with the life skills that are being taught. I feel like you have not only giving the man a fish, but also are teaching him to fish. Thank you for providing such a great service for our community.
