Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: The Mission of the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League of the Palm Beaches, Incorporated is to provide shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals, to provide spay and neuter and other medical services for companion animals, and to care for, protect, and find quality homes for homeless and neglected companion animals, to advocate animal welfare, community involvement and education to further the bond between people and animals.
Results: We have served over 1.5 million animals since 1925! Here is a quick glimpse of our annual impact: 35,000+ Cats and dogs benefit from Peggy Adams' programs and services | 5,000+ Pets placed into loving homes |160+ Lost pets reunited with their grateful owners | 13,000+ Spay and neuter surgeries performed | 4,500+ Community cats spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped at no cost to the community through grant funding | 400,000+ Meals provided through Peggy’s Pantry pet food bank | 5,600+ Lost of homeless cats and dogs provided temporary shelter | 800+ Foster volunteers provide temporary care for nearly 4,000 cats and dogs through our Foster Program | 1,200+ Kittens are nurtured in our nursery prior to foster care | 1,000+ Volunteers contribute over 32,000 hours of service
