A member of my office staff was involved in the building of a ramp for a veteran who was having difficulty getting in and out of his residence. He told us when we were done that we don't realize how the smallest obsticals effect our daily routine. He said the ramp would give more freedom and independence. His gratitude made us more determined to help whenever we could. Keep up the good work and please notify me for future projects.
One of the things this organization has done this year is helped a local vetrans organization with remodeling plans to make their facility easily accessible for people with physical disabilities. Make It Count provided materials and labor to get the job done. It was a great effort and the improvement is appreciated by the entire community.
I was approached by a very close friend about the Make it Count foundation. Upon hearing the stories about the good work that this organization has done for our military men and women, I knew I had to be involved in some way. The sincere, unselfish people that I personally know who are invloved with this organization would give the shirt off their back for our military personnel. They would never be looking for any kind of pay back or political favor. I know that for a fact ! These are the type of people that have your back just as our solders do for their fellow soldeirs out there on the front line. This foundation truly believes that it needs to do as much possible to help our military personnel re-acclimate themselves into civilian life. Our men and women of the military need and deserve more Foundations like this for all they have done for this great country !
