Mission: We serve as a catalyst for sustainable change within the lives of those we serve by ensuring that their fundamental housing, health, and educational needs are met. Make it count envisions a world where all people have the best opportunity to realize their maximum potential.
Programs: Housing - from returning veterans to hard-working families, make it count is committed to providing access to safe, medically appropriate, and affordable housing renovations to those who need it most.
education - through our backpacks for education program, scholarships, and grants & technical assistance to schools, make it count helps young scholars and gifted youth who have not only shown promise in an academic or extracurricular capacity, but who also would otherwise lack access to further growth without this necessary financial assistance.
health - through emergency relief initiatives and programs like bikes for fitness, make it count foundation supports individuals and their families who seek understanding and assistance in managing their own health. Additionally, we serve to inspire and motivate those on their own personal journey towards a healthy lifestyle in order to achieve their optimal health.
Make It Count Foundation is an incredible labor of love of it's founder Jon Reese. This non profit was created simply for one purpose: to help people in the Long Island community by providing resources for optimal health, housing and education. I have experienced first hand how Make It Count makes a difference in peoples lives whether one is on the giving or receiving end. Make It Count Foundation transforms lives now, enabling those we influence to achieve their own personal potential and in turn, help others do the same. The Make It Count partners include United Way of Long Island, Great South Bay YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk, VFW of Patchogue and Suffolk County United Veterans. Whether it's a child, veteran or someone in need, Make It Count will ensure that your donations are put where they are needed most.
