Mission: The Isla Vista Youth Projects, Inc. strengthens our community through diverse educational, recreational and social programs for children and families regardless of income.
Results: The Isla Vista Youth Projects was founded in 1971 in response to community need for programs to serve community children and families. The Isla Vista Youth Projects celebrates the diversity of the ethnic and racial backgrounds represented in our community, and we do not discriminate against any child because of race, ethnic origin, religious affiliation or economic status. In the 2013-2014 fiscal year, we served over 1800 families in the Isla Vista, Goleta, and Santa Barbara Communities.

Geographic areas served: Santa Barbara County
Programs: a Children's Center (NAEYC Certified Preschool Program), an Elementary-aged After School Program and Summer Program, a Family Resource Center, and THRIVE Isla Vista.
