It is amazing the joy, relief, and gratitude a new pair of shoes brings a child when they are in need. No one thinks about the importance of shoes and health when working with kids, but Shoes That Fit does. They ensured all youth receiving shoes had quality, fitted, great looking shoes. The kids rushed to put them on the moment they received them. The diligence of the Shoes That Fit team in obtaining the proper information, considering who the child is, and fulfilling a massive delivery (smiling the whole time) was inspiring and makes the work so worth it. It is amazing what a group of people who care can do. Hesperia Unified School District is honored to work with Shoes That Fit and appreciate the consideration given to our littles.

Mission: Shoes That Fit tackles one of the most visible signs of poverty in America by giving children in need new athletic shoes to attend school with dignity and joy, prepared to learn, play and thrive.
Results: Over 3 million pairs of new shoes and other items have been donated to school children in need across the United States. School staff report that children helped by our program showed improvement in attitude and behavior, social interaction and increased participation in physical activity.
