Causes: Homeless & Housing, Homeless Shelters, Housing & Shelter
Mission: Carpenter’s Shelter supports people experiencing and at risk of homelessness to achieve sustainable independence through shelter and housing placement, guidance, education, and advocacy.
Results: Carpenter’s Shelter serves over 900 children, women, and men each year through comprehensive services that empower those experiencing or at risk of homelessness to achieve lasting independence. Our services support families and individuals from crisis to stability—providing shelter, housing-focused case management, education, employment resources, and long-term follow-up through community case management. Our impact is measurable: over 93% of clients who exit our shelter and engage in our community case management program remain stably housed during their first year—one of the most vulnerable times in their journey. At Carpenter’s Shelter, we believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home. No one is denied shelter or services based on race, color, national origin, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
