I'm a senior who was ready to rescue a little dog. I looked online and found a sweet little lady named Ruby; a mix with a chichuaua and dachshund.
I've had several dogs in my life but never any with mange!
So, needless to say here I am spending money I should spend on my health to get her back to some normalcy... Now I know why they don't want you to post any of their names....#gotrippedoff #liveandlearn #

we had a friend that adopted from this rescue and they recommended we do the same. well, we picked her up one week ago today, our sweet little Ella and we could not be happier. we got all her medical info, 30 days of free pet insurance as well as the vet notes from their vet, as she did great at her wellness exam prior to being adopted to us and came to us having all shots, being microchipped, heart worm tested and spayed and we do not think the $300 adoption fee was much at all for as great as she is. she has filled the space in our hearts as we lost our suzie last month.....THANK YOU ZEN AND THANK YOU LAURA

We rescued our Bibby from this rescue and had a great experience. we were invited to the home, spent time with him and fell in love. they feed a good quality food and were given a free sample bag until we could get some of our own. laura followed up with us a few days after we adopted and we have sent a few photos and overall had a great experience. thank you zen for our new little boy

It is all about resquing a Dog,,Laura was very upfront in explaining the details, it did go rather quickly and I was nervous , if I was making the right decision with adopting Baby (Deb) Shih Tzu , who had very poor eye sight and I was advised she was blind ,(dry eye) , she is missing front left paw all the way up to the joint, missing part of her tail, and known to bite,, Well with in two days she was jumping up on the couch, dancing around, , after applying opptimune on her eyes, her eye sight has much improved, I have no regrets what so ever and am so glad to have adopted this dog,, she is very loving and would only bite if she feels threatened and so do I ,, so appreciative she is, and appears to be very happy,, I hope I can make up to her the horrible abuse she has had in the past , and did not deserve

We adopted "Delilah" from this 'no-frills' rescue for $300 cash. Laura was friendly enough, but offered no unsolicited info about Delilah's background or health. We took Delilah to our Vet 2 days later, and over-all she appears healthy, except the doctor said her bladder is full of stones (crystal if you will). We are trying to resolve this with diet, but if that doesn't work, she will need a $500 surgery. She is a sweet little dog, and we love her and she loves us.

Avoid this person. Laura advertised a one-year-old dog through petfinder. When we arrived I noticed that the dog's age was listed as 5 years. We chose to ignore that red flag and adopt anyway. When we brought dog to the vet, the vet told us that the most likely age of the dog was around 10! So we set out to get a puppy and ended up with a geriatric dog (with significant health issues). When we told Laura about the dog's age she told us our vet was wrong and that she trusts her vet. When I called her vet clinic, they stated that the age they had listed was based upon the information provided to them. When I told Laura this she made further excuses and would not make this right. Go to the human society, do not give your money to this "non-profit."

Laura is very dedicated to saving dogs that would normally get looked over and put down in animal shelters. Her adoption fee is higher than most because the dogs she saves need medical attention. She has saved many dogs.

My experience was not good. When I was ten minutes away my new car broke down. I was stressed and let her know that I wasn't sure what I was going to do. She drove to my location and offered help. My car stopped acting up and I drove to Laura's house. She let me use her house as a staging area to get my car towed while I Ubered to get a rental car. When we finally got around to the dog she let me know there were additional medical problems but urged me to take it. I asked if I found I couldn't afford the dog if I could bring it back. She said yes. I spent $150 in vet bills and medication during the ten days I had it. I did not get my adoption fee back. Laura was hostile about me returning the dog.

I imagine she has many happy endings and I hope some of them leave feedback as well.
