I joined YNPN a few years ago and it has been amazing experience. YNPN has expanded my network and given me great professional contacts. I have also made many close friends through YNPN. By volunteering at YNPN I have gained a great deal of experience working for a nonprofit that I would not have received elsewhere. YNPN is a great resource for young nonprofit professionals and values our generation's importance in the sector.

Mission: YNPN National provides support and resources for local YNPN networks. Through leadership development, networking and advocacy activities, the organization seeks broader awareness and support for young nonprofit leaders.
Programs: To better serve this growing national network, YNPN incorporated as an independent, national nonprofit at the end of 2003 to meet the needs of and provide infrastructure for local chapters across the country. The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, originally begun in the San Francisco Bay Area, is now popping up all over the country. Young nonprofit professionals nationwide are seeking out their peers to share resources and ideas to support professional development and to strengthen the nonprofit sector. In addition to the San Francisco Bay Area, local YNPN groups are up and running in areas such as Austin, Chicago, Denver, New York City, and Washington DC. With over 6,000 members nationwide, the network is a dynamic and growing advocate for nonprofit professionals everywhere.
