Mission: The mission of the yelm adult community center (yacc) is to enhance the health and dignity of seniors and people with disabilities; to support their independence; to provide access to vital services, nutrition, and social situations; to provide a focal point for people to come together for service and activities that reflect their experience and skills; to respond to their diverse needs and interests; and encourage involvement in, with, and for our community.
Programs: Comprehensive senior services, general/other: our program services were able to provide for the senior population of yelm and southeast thurston county in the following areas: transportation for essential errands (medical appointments, grocery shopping), nutrional meals, wellness activities, health screenings, educational seminars, fall prevention seminars, and transportation to and from the center.
