Mission: The womens general auxiliary of the twin cities unit shriners hospitals provides funding to the shriners hospital for children-twin cities to support the hospital's specialized orthopedic treatments for children regardless of the family's ability to pay. Through fund-raising activities, the womens general auxiliary of the twin cities unit shriners hospitals is a source of donations to help the hospital cover the cost of wheelchairs, wheelchair components and repairs, orthopedic, therapeutic and medical equipment, and overnight family accommodations.
Programs: Children's hospital - to support the children's hospital by providing equipment, recreation, parent accommodations and personal items for every child and their families at the twin cities shriners hospital. During 2017, the auxiliary paid $300,980 for wheelchairs.
