WCC has been a lifesaver for hundreds of women over the years. Keeping true to the original founders in the 1960's WCC is a link to community resources for women who need help finding the right referral. I've been a volunteer almost 10 years now and consider it an honor to be part of this organization.
My experience with WCCSLO has been wonderful!
Not only I have met great women, super sisters who are loyal, fun, smart and creative, but also it has given me the opportunity of getting involved in their newspaper, the Women's Press, where I have written articles, poems and I have introduced young artists to our community.
I have also participated in their Monthly Legal Clinic, where lawyers give their time pro bono and assist self litigants with legal matters, I as a translator, get to help women who otherwise will find the legal process impossible to deal with.
The sisterhood that exists among the WCC members is fun and contagious.
Come a check them out, I did and now as a Board Member I am inviting you!!!
