Mission: The organization is an evangelical ministry, and is an outreach ministry of jesus christ through his church. As such, the organization, as embodied in its volunteers, is committed to presenting the gospel of our lord, both in word and deed, to women in unintended pregnancies. Commensurate with this purpose, those who labor as board members, directors, and volunteers are expected to know christ as their saviorand lord.
Programs: Community support - more than $24,647 worth of merchandise was distributed to clients participating in education classes, as well as the disadvantaged individuals within the community. These donations were made in the form of clothing (maternity and family), household items, diapers, wipes, formula, and other baby items. This program utilized a total of 28,208 volunteer hours.
client services - in 2017, we had 1,891 client visits. All services were provided at no charge and include: new client consultations, evaluation of options, mentoring appointments, and educational support in the context of a caring relationship. Prenatal and parenting life skills education is offered in order to prepare women and their families for the experience of childbirth and parenting, and to provide a place of support and community. An abortion recovery program is available for individuals who have come to regret a past abortion. The annual value of donated services to the community is approximately $35,086. This program utilized a total of 4,172 volunteer hours.
medical services - the clinic operates under the license of a local, board certified ob/gyn. In order to provide clients with health education and referrals tailored to specific needs, each client has the opportunity to consult with an onsite registered nurse. Medical grade pregnancy tests are utilized to guide our services, and ultrasound exams are provided to verify a viable uterine pregnancy. A medical advisory team made up of local physicians and nurses meet at least twice per year to review medical services and policies. Annual donated services to the community are valued at $116,010. This program utilized a total of 6220 volunteer hours, a value of approximately $17,335.
