Mission: We are dedicated to providing necessary orthodontic servcies and oral health education to children and young adults ages 10-25. We assist lower income families who otherwise could not afford braces for their children. It is our mission to make a difference in the lives of children and young adults in our community. We hope to accomplish this by building self-confidence, creating beautiful smiles and promoting life-long oral health. We are a leader in providing access to orthodontic care for people in need of this service.
Programs: Reduced cost (charity care) orthodontic services, as described in the organization's charity care policy, were provided to approximately 550 children of lower income families who, in most cases, would not otherwise be able to afford it. Referrals to the program were received from dental clinics, private dentists and social services agencies. The significant increase in participants can be attributed to a growing increase in awareness of our organziation within the community as well as an expansion of our service area. We anticipate continuted growth in the number of children and young adults served to increase by approximately 200 people annually.
