Mission: Wellness house, an independent, community based nonprofit organization dedicated to kindess and compassion, provides support and education services for individuals with cancer and other life-challenging illnesses, their family, friends, and community.
Target demographics: those facing a life challenging illness or circumstance feel hope, connection and support ,as well as empowered to join their health care team in making decisions.
Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2016, wellness house provided services to approximately 9,400 people throughout the community.
Programs: Wellness house is a nonprofit organization that develops and maintains support groups and services for individuals diagnosed with life changing illnesses such as cancer, depression, trauma, hepatitius c and fibromyalgia.
