Mission: Vlsp works to maximize utilization of monroe county's private attorneys in the delivery of civil legal services to the indigent. We recruit, train, and support volunteer lawyers with the expertise our clients need to resolve serious legal problems. The vlsp mission is to improve the quality of life of low-income people in monroe county by ensuring equal access to justice.
Programs: Volunteer legal services project of monroe county provides legal services to approximately 2,000 indigent clients (annual income below 200% of the official federal poverty level) through advice, assistance, and referrals.
