Mission: Visiting Nurse Association Health Group is the largest nonprofit community health provider in New Jersey, providing home health care, hospice and community-based services to more than 120,000 individuals each year. VNA Health Group members include VNA of Central Jersey, RWJ Visiting Nurses, Cape VNA and VNA of Englewood. Donations play a vital role in fulfilling VNA Health Group’s mission to care for people in need regardless of circumstance.
Programs: Visiting nurse association health group, inc. Provides management, administrative and support services to its affiliated nonprofit organizations. The affiliated organizations provide a full continuum of community-based services to patients in their homes and other settings through their home care and hospice programs utilizing a multi-disciplinary team of caregivers. The organization and its affiliates remain dedicated to helping individuals and families in acheiving their best level of well-being and provided multiple programs to uninsured, underinsured and disenfranchised patients at various locations in the communities served. During 2014, care was provided to approximately 27,000 home care and hospice patients. In addition, community based services, including children and family health and connected health, were provided to more than 78,000 patients. These services include care of nearly 11,000 children with special health, developmental, and behavioral needs, from birth to age 21 with approximately 45,000 episodes of care through the special child health services and early intervention programs.
