Mission: Providing services to those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault and offering education, advocacy, and awareness to the community.
Programs: Victims of violence intervention program, inc. Provides many different services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the three-county area. These services include the following: 24-hour crisis line, advocacy, emergency shelter, speaker's bureau, support groups, battered women's support groups, children's program, networking, and on-going education. During 2017, our staff served 314 clients. We had 91 clients reside in the shelter for a total of 2,741 days. The average stay in the shelter was 30 days. A total of 16,453 services were provided.
