Mission: Child care apprenticeship program the organization is dedicated to addressing the challenges of recruitment and retention of skilled childcare workers in vermont.
Programs: We enhance the knowledge, skills and status of child care providers by offering the apprenticeship program and other professional development activities. Ten registered apprentices completed their training requirements; training sessions were held for mentors serving 42 participants; 18 college courses were held at ccv sites throughout the state with a total of 256 students receiving college credits; 27 certificates of proficiencies were awarded in may 2017 to technical center students for their activities typical to their work with children.
