Mission: To promote and support the charitable mission and activities of upmc jameson, a 501(c)(3) federally tax-exempt hospital facility and its affiliated tax-exempt healthcare and human service organizations through fundraising and other supportive activities.
Programs: Rental property - jameson healthcare foundation owns property surrounding the upmc jameson campus as well as the jameson rehabilitation center. They also own space at the medical arts building. These facilities then rent space from the foundation to perform health services and provide access to upmc jameson
physician loan forgiveness - physicians are recruited to our service area by providing the physician with loans to assist with the establishment of their medical practice. Once the physician has established his practice and remains in our service area, the loans are extinguished and the appropriate irs documentation is provided via a 1099.
