Mission: Unlocking doors is a statewide "community reentry resource network" that is committed to improving public safety by reducing repeat crime through systematic and carefully coordinated collaboration and partnership, public awareness, education, training, and analysis and application of high value evidence-based data sets and predictive trends.
Programs: Reentry brokerage: comprehensive client risk/needs assessments, individualized reentry brokerage plans, referrals to brokered community partner/provider network and ongoing monitoring going forward.
trace database & data reporting: evidence-based and community impact analytics/data collection, maintenance and evaluation/analysis for use by policy/law makers and stakeholders in determining evidence-based/good practices, funding, policies and legislation to improve public safety.
education & community collaboration: reentry training and education (including continuing education credits for qualifying professionals) for community/state/federal partners/providers, agencies and organizations; criminal justice professionals (including licensed social workers, law enforcement and attorneys); and the public regarding criminal justice issues, especially those related to reentry and integration, tools, policies, and evidence-based practices.
