Mission: United States Servas is a non-profit, non-partisan membership organization fostering a global understanding of cultural diversity through a person-to-person network of travelers and hosts. As a traveler or host, each member of Servas serves as an "ambassador of peace." A Servas visit can serve as a foundation that leads to lifelong friendships, cross-cultural harmony, goodwill and respect.
Results: Servas was recognized in 1998 by the United Nations as an official affiliated NGO. Servas is engaged in supporting the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Geographic areas served: The United States and worldwide
Programs: United States Servas provides letters of introduction for travelers to present to host families as well as providing travelers with lists of hosts who are willing to provide lodging. United States Servas hosts a website that provides information about the types of traveling programs, information on how to become a servas traveler, and outreach.
