Mission: United states diving foundation, inc. Usdf was formed to benefit and perform the function of and carry out the educational programs of usa diving, inc. , the sole member of usdf.
Programs: Block grant program service accomplishmentsthe goal of the usa diving block grant was to aid the general operating budget. The funds were used to cover expenses for national championship events for junior and senior divers and for member benefits such as insurance. Activity objective for this time period and the long-term goal the long-term goal of the block grant is for usa diving to continue to be able to provide services and benefits to the membership. Events and insurance are the fundamental reasons usa diving exists and this grant helped facilitate these items. Usa diving currently has around 8,000 members so these funds will go to serve the current membership as well as improve the outlook for future members.
international grand prix competitions program service accomplishments. Grant monies donated to usa divng, inc to send elite athletes as to various international diving competitions to compete against the worlds best divers and gain international experience which is critcal to compete in world championships and olympic games.
gloria thompson scholarship to be awarded to a member of usa diving in his or her last year of high school, who will be attending a ncaa division iii college or university the followin year.
