Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Founded in 1970, UCCRs mission is to create partnerships that provide positive life-changing experiences. Our approach is two-fold: to fully support your program while you and your group are enjoying one of our facilities, and to provide excellence in the stewardship of the properties with which we have been entrusted. UCCRs expertise in managing and operating camp and retreat property gives the owner organizations confidence that their facility has a steward who cares about their mission, as well as the missions of the groups we serve. Educational programsin addition to our site offerings, we have developed a strong and expanding program capability, highlighted by our educational component web of life field (wolf) school, which offers programs to k-12th grade students and their teachers.
Target demographics: facilities flourish by providing excellent stewardship of nonprofit properties.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Thousands of people go on retreat, or have an event at one of our UCCR managed camp, conference and retreat centers by offering excellent hospitality and acommodations.
Geographic areas served: cities accross the USA managing camp, conference and retreat centers.
Programs: We are the only nonprofit in the USA that offers expert full-service facility management services for camp, conference and retreat centers. We also have an outdoor education program, the Web of Life Field (WOLF) School at wolfschool.org that offers nationwide consulting to environmental education programming and runs program in California for many many school age children.
