Mission: Tuxedo junction rescue is a no-kill rescue organization dedicated to providing care, rehabilitation, and permanent placement into caring homes for cats at risk for shelter euthanasia. As space permits we also provide a safe haven to cats at risk of danger or death through abuse, neglect, or abandonment, with the goal of finding secure permanent arrangements for these cats. We also provide information on spay/neuter, feline health and welfare topics through public outreach and our website.
Programs: Animal protection & welfare programs,: tuxedo junction rescue, inc. Accepted cats at risk for death, abuse neglect or abandonment. Placed adoptable cats in permanent adoptive homes. Provided ongoing food, shelter, vet care and hospice care to 12 -18 cats residing in our facility. Provided resource information and advice regarding local rescue options, spay/neuter, and cat health/behavior issues to the general public by telephone, email or personal contact. Inquiries of this nature are estimated to average 2/day. Provided information to the general public regarding rescue, spay/neuter and local shelter euthanasia during public tabling and informational functions. (0 n/a)
