Mission: The T.R.A.D.E. (Tradeswomen Ran Association for Diversity and Equity) supports and advocates for women in the trades industry. They strive to promote diversity and equity by providing resources, networking opportunities, and mentorship programs for women pursuing careers in traditionally male-centered fields such as construction, plumbing, electrical work, and more. Through their efforts, TRADE aims to break down barriers and create a more inclusive environment for women in the trades, empowering them to succeed and thrive in their chosen professions.
Results: We have supported the careers of more than 45 women in the construction industry. One has been elected as the first female apprentice convention delegate of more than 10,000 members in her union. We are sending 37 women to the largest gathering of tradeswomen in the nation—the NABTU-Tradeswomen Build Nations Conference in New Orleans, LA.
