Nonprofit Overview
Mission: To provide a "home" environment for terminally ill individuals suffering late stage dying in need of an available caregiver, including those who have limited or no financial resoures and are in need of home care services. (services are provided free of charge) medical support will be provided by the individual's hospice team, assisted at no cost by a qualified team of trained staff and volunteers who provide caregiver services.
Programs: The journey home provided 24-hour care, 11 1/2 months for 76 guests during 2014. The average length of stay per guest was 5. 23 days. The number of care days was 398. In addition, volunteers served 1381 hours.
