Causes: Child Abuse Prevention, Crime & Law, Domestic Violence
Mission: The alliance, working closely with law enforcement officials and dcyf, facilitates a multidisciplinary approach to child abuse investigations. Additionally it provides statewide education, training and support for the 11 child advocacy centers of new hampshire.
Programs: The centers facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to child abuse investigations. Professionals responsible for the investigation and prosecution of the child abuse cases work together to support the victim and seek justice from the offender. This coordinated approach limits the number of interviews a child has to participate in, reducing trauma to the child and helping professionals prepare a more effective case for the prosecution. The center provides forensic interviews and support services to 810 children annually.
the alliance provides membership services and training as well as technical support to the ten child advocacy centers in the new hampshire.
