Mission: Mission Statement: By providing some of the most basic necessities: food, hygiene, and household items, we believe we can bring hope and love to our county. Vision: To create a hub where agencies all over Polk County can gather and provide much needed services in an effort to promote self sufficiency and to begin to move our most vulnerable residents away from the poverty line.
Results: 2022: In 2022, The Freedom Tour gave out 14.9 million pounds of product, and of that, 5.1 million pounds in disaster relief. This equates to 47.8 million dollars in product given away for free. Each month, over a million pounds of product is given away: ranging from food, to hygiene, to household items, and to cleaning products. In addition to the pounds of product given away, 600 hot meals are served each month and 1700 bags of food are distributed. These bags contain quick go to meals and snack items which help many of our families and individuals that are either unhoused or have limited resources for preparing a meal.
