I learned more about the nonprofit world in the time that I have been on the Board; the employees are so eager to help me and that is what is so interesting. They have this drive that is unexplainable.

This group helped me save my home; I was laid off from my job and couldn't afford the monthly mortgage payment. I was behind 6 months and my housing counseling helped me get a loan modification from my mortgage company.

We were downsizing and although we had had a yard sale, we still had a lot of household goods left; I called several organizations but the only one that responded was the BACH Foundation. The young lady that I spoke with made all the arrangements for pickup and the gentlemen arrived promptly and removed all the boxes that we had.

The Chair of this Foundation started the Cuddle Me Program in response to a request for assistance for a teenage mother with a 3 week old baby. It is a wonderful program which helps the neediest individuals with free diapers.

The case managers are a dedicated group of individuals who do everything within their power to provide for the clients they serve. When money is tight, they have purchased needed items from their own pockets.

The Cuddle Me Program provides free diapers and formula for families who can't afford them. I helped with the distribution of those items. It was very satisfying and it was even more satisfying when clients were happy.

My son goes to the Future Leaders program; he is 16 years old and was always in trouble at home and school before he got in this program. His attitude has improved because of the program.

I was referred to BACH by my doctor's office because I needed help with diapers; when I got to the office, they gave me diapers, wipes and formula for my newborn and they also gave me training pants for my 3 year old. I have been back several times and they are very helpful.

For the past 5 years, when we have cleared out our attic, we have donated furniture and clothing to BACH. They have provided us with an update on how the furniture and clothing were used and in one case, sent us a letter that a client wrote thanking us for the donation.

I called this place and they provided free diapers and wipes for my 6 month old son. I didn't have any money and the Case Manager didn't care about that; she said that it was free and I could come back again if I needed more help.

The housing counselors at this agency were most helpful. They spent a great deal of time talking with me; called and talked with my lender; helped me complete paperwork and I was able to get a loan modification which reduced my monthly payment and helped me keep my house.
