Causes: Education
Mission: AGMD is a non-profit international organization which serves as an integral educational resource concerning digestive motility diseases and disorders. It also functions as an important information base for members of the medical and scientific communities. In addition, AGMD provides a forum for patients suffering from digestive motility diseases and disorders as well as their families and members of the medical and scientific communities.
Results: We have provided major symposia bringing world renown physicians, scientists, and researchers together with patients and their families. In 2011 we will be commemorating our 20th year of service. We will be offering many special events.
Target demographics: People of all ages affected by digestive motility diseases and disorders.
Programs: Symposiums, webinars, open telephone conversations, support groups, educational materials, fundraisers
