The adolescent champion model is an 18-month multi-faceted intervention that addresses a health centers environment, policies, and practices to ensure that all aspects of a visit to the health center are youth-centered.

competitive personal responsibility education program is an educational program to adolescents on abstinence and contraception and prevent teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. This program provides the cuidate and making proud choices curricula to middle school youth in rural maverick county and cameron county. The program also provides students with education on: healthy relationships, adolescent development, parent-child communication and healthy life skills. The texas campaign is responsible for administering grant funds to community partners maverick county hospital district and santa rosa isd; serves as a project resource and liaison; and provides technical assistance, as needed.
