My name is Geena Edmonds and I use to volunteer for the TOPS program. For a handful of months I worked the front desk at the Tucson location. Being a teen mother myself, if was very rewarding to be able to give back in any way that I could. Due to my time consuming school work load, and a three year old who also needed most of my time, I was no longer able to dedicate time to the TOPS program. About 2 and a half years later I am now a supervisor at the local DES office. Each day I am able to help young mothers in a different way than I would have expected. And, I wish I could have had more time with TOPS. This is a great resource for teen mothers and a great place to volunteer.
