Mission: To promote and improve the health of the tanana valley watershed through education, restoration, collaborative research, and diverse community involvement.
Programs: The tanana valley watershed association (tvwa), established in 2006, is a rapidly growing 501(c)(3)based in fairbanks, ak. The tvwa represents the entire tanana valley watershed that encompasses over forty thousand square miles from the northern ridges of mount mckinley to tundra of the tanana valley. Our mission is to preserve, improve and inspire appreciation for the tanana valley watershed by engaging residents, leading and supporting demonstration projects, and advocating wise land use planning and best management practices.
