We just started volunteering with the Program on the Saponi Stickball, keeping the youth moving. I would like to say thank you for doing this teaching and healing the culture. We need this in the community

I am a firm believer that things we do in our formative years, and in our early adulthood, we compound injuries by being reinjured time and time again. If you live a physical life like I did in the US Army, followed by a career as a policeman, you'll find yourself where I am at 59. I see that arthritis has set in and you attempt to conquer it.
Unfortunately this is not the same for children who have early onset arthritis. I cant imagine having to deal with this disease as a kid. Kids are supposed to be resilient and should be able to rebound from everything in their lives. So I ask that all who read this, understand, that this group requires support.

So glad we reached out To NCSOAK they helped us in many ways, by informing us what our son would go through. They were there every step of the way,, The organization knows how to encourage and teach your kids what they will face, with this illness. We are so grateful to them. Thanks NCSOAK

There were several programs that helped us in the community, Being of Native American heritage, we are pre-disposed to some of the illnesses, and we didn't know why.
