Mission: The stem advocacy institute's mission is to conduct research that leads to the development of new ideas, tools, and insights to advance the development of science. We do this through research, advocacy, development and advising.
Programs: We manage the journal of stories in science which is a tool we built in an effort to characterize and catalogue the anthropological nature of science around the world. An average of 1,500-2,000 people per month visit the site. A number of organizations showcase it as a resource for their students. Site :www. Storiesinscience. Org
we built and now manage the first global directory of science communication and outreach initiatives. An average of 200 people per month (and growing) visit the site. The database is online at www. Scireach. Org
conference/meeting attendance to contribute insights into science outreach, education and new tool development. On average, attendance varies from as low as 30 persons to as high as 100.
