The Stafford Animal Shelter prevents animal distress by caring for displaced animals, facilitating adoptions and reunions, minimizing pet overpopulation, and pioneering educational outreach
Programs: Operation Zero: each adoptable animal is spayed or nuetered before being adopted out. Information is regularly diseminated about the importance and benefits of altering pets and we partner with local spay/neuter clinics and animal control (licensing an unaltered pet is far more expensive now than an altered one.)
