Causes: Animals, Wildlife Preservation & Protection
Mission: To acquire, preserve, and manage open space and wildlife habitat areas; to promote a conservation ethic and wise use of natural resources; to guarantee hunting and fishing access for the general public; to actively manage wildlife habitat to promote diversity of animal species; to promote good sportsmanship and land stewardship practices; to assist any other non-profit organization or governmental entity to accomplish any of the foregoing purposes; to raise money for any of the foregoing purposes; and to conduct such other activities and programs in furtherance of the foregoing purposes as may be carried out by a corporation organized under massachusetts general laws chapter 180 and described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code.
Programs: During 2013, the organization contined to work with sportsmens national land trust - massachusetts chapter, inc. (snlt ma) and assisted them in their work on the phelon parcel located in granville, ma. Additionally, the organization worked on creating a new brochure and donated artwork to snlt ma to raffle at the 2014 springfield sportsmen's show.
