Causes: Special Olympics, Sports
Mission: The mission of Special Olympics Idaho is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Programs: Special Olympics Idaho offers programs and initiatives in communities and schools across the state. We change lives by changing the game and championing the skills and achievements of children and adults with disabilities. Through sports, Special Olympics Idaho reaches all people of all abilities and offers the chance to share in the joy of accomplishment and training to be one’s personal best!
