Mission: The south shore restoration group inc. Restored bay shore's second avenue firehouse. The lower level is used as an artist's studio and gallery. The second story is living and work space for the artist-in-residence. South shore restoration group's gallery is open from 12 to 4 every sunday, free of charge. There is a different exhibit every month. The gallery is also used free of charge by the bay shore public schools and other not for profit organizations such as the ymca. In addition, there are music performances every month that are open to the public.
