Mission: To inspire americans to protect our environment and wildlife.
Programs: South dakota youth conservation camp: youth camp for boys and girls ages of 15 to 17 years old in the black hills of south dakota. Camp provides outdoor activities and sports training. Camp also provides information on wildlife identification, wildlife habitat, stream ecology, conservation, conservation officer investigations, insect identification, as well as outdoor safety. Fully staffed by volunteers and transportation provided.
campaigns for american wilderness: campaign to achieve lasting protection for threatened wild lands, providing information on the importance of maintaining wilderness areas and the benefits resulting therefrom.
advocacy for the conservation and protection of wildlife, natural reasources, and the development of wildlife habitat. The organization works closely with the the state game, fish, and parks department to develop wildlife manangement policies.
