Mission: The society catalyzes and leads change to improve diagnosis and eliminate harm, in partnership with patients, their families, the healthcare community, and every interested stakeholder.
Programs: Diagnostic error in medicine (dem) conferences to provide platforms to present the latest research and policy initiatives on diagnostic quality and safety and network with international peers active in the field. The conferences include multi-disciplinary speakers from a range of scientific domains involved in improving diagnosis, including psychology, medical education, clinical and laboratory medicine, human factors engineering, epidemiology, informatics and quality and safety research.
