Programs: With the support of approximately 344 volunteers serving in various capacities, skagit habitat for humanity was able to complete their 30th and 31st home(s) with our newest homeowner(s) built almost entirely by the homeowners and volunteer labor. Through this process, training and mentoring is provided for the households and others in skagit county ranging from financial management to home maintenance/repair, etc. The goal is have the families achieve long-term success in their home ownership and provide permanent affordable housing for the families.

The store has provided a resource for builders and the general public to donate and purchased usable materials. The store raises funds to help sustain our programs as well as provides opportunities for individuals. through the program habitat helpers, the focus is to provide minor home repairs, maintenance and accessibility improvements necessary to restore safety, stability and a dignified place to live for low income homeowners of skagit county. Skagit habitat for humanity provides the necessary skills for management of the projects, the materials, tools and then brings volunteers in the community together to complete the work.
