Sister Stan is an amazing woman in Ghana who recognized due to local superstitions,the children were seen as evil and that children were being murdered because of this . The local population takes deformed children( and sometimes not too deformed) and puts them in the forest to die. Sister Stan started an orphanage for these homeless and innocent children, and needs to buld an orphange, feed the children and educate the locals regarding modern medcine and concepts. The children are receiving no governemtn support . They have no medical care and often very little food. This is just a small pocket in Ghana, which is a democracy. Mission: The purpose of this organization is to support the efforts of marian sisters of eucharistic love (masel) in a phased build and support of an orphanage called nazareth home for god's children to care for and educate the rejected and abandoned "spirit children" in northern ghana. This corporation shall participate in fundraising and awareness-building in order to fulfill these goals.
Programs: Donations were taken in, recorded, and managed for tax exemption purposes for all donors (see revenue below). They were distributed to masel as needed and as set forth in our by-laws and articles of incorporation. Disbursements were made to masel totaling $222,100, also listed on part i line 13. These expenses, in addition to the associated international wire transfer fees, is listed below as expenses.
in june 2017, a fundraiser was held on behalf of sister stan's children by volunteers in loveland, colorado. The fundraiser was called "sister stan's children's inaugural gala" and it included a silent auction, dinner, and a live auction. A substantial donation was made to the organization as a result of this fundraiser (see revenue below).
in our efforts to educate the public about the work that is going on at the orphanage, we host and manage a website at www. Sisterstanschildren. Org and a facebook page at www. Facebook. Com/sisterstanschildren. While most of the accomplishments of these awareness-building services are intangible, financial donations can be made through the website. Revenue shown here indicates donations received in 2017 using paypal on the website. Service expenses indicate the cost for hosting the website as well as fees required by paypal for these donations made.
